The Golden Notebook — Doris Lessing

You always get something new from a book on rereading it and all the more so with a feminist, political classic like The Golden Notebook.

I first read it about a decade ago and loved it — but in my early 20s I know a lot of it went over my head. I’ve made a promise to my future self to read it at least once a decade. And in the meantime to make my way through all the Lessing I’ve not yet read.
